Artlist, the Israeli video production company that has repositioned itself as an artificial intelligence platform, has launched a new product that aims to reshape the way professional video content is produced. The release of Artlist Studio, an AI-based production environment, comes as the company reports sharply accelerating growth and reaching $300 million in annual recurring revenue by early 2026.
This milestone follows a year of rapid expansion. Artlist announced in January that its annual recurring revenue would be $260 million at the end of 2025, a 50% year-over-year growth. During the same period, the company expanded its product portfolio, hired 120 people, and expanded its workforce to approximately 500 people.
The first months of 2026 suggest that the transition is gaining momentum. The company said new user growth in the first quarter was up 600% year-over-year, contributing to the jump in revenue.
At the center of that momentum is Artlist Studio, which the company describes as an attempt to push the limits of current generative AI tools. While much of today’s AI-driven content creation relies on repetitive text prompts, Artlist believes professional creators and the studios they work in need a more structured and controllable environment.
The new platform is designed to mimic traditional film production workflows. Users can manage elements typically handled in pre-production and on set, such as casting, locations, and camera angles, all within a unified interface.
“Artlist Studio is designed to remove logistical barriers in the creative process,” said Roee Peled, the company’s chief product and technology officer. “We built a platform that gives creatives more control over real-world production using AI.”
Artlist was founded in 2016 by four entrepreneurs, video editors, and musicians from Kibbutz Afikim. Itzik Elbaz, co-founder and co-CEO, has an extensive technology background. and Eyal Raz and Assaf Eyalon. The company operated as an in-house business for many years before raising $48 million from KKR in 2020. Since then, we have significantly expanded our product portfolio with several acquisitions, including Motion Array and FXhome.
