Apple's long-awaited WWDC keynote is finally here. The 2024 Worldwide Developers Conference will bring the usual annual updates to Apple platforms like iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and watchOS, as well as software for the Vision Pro headset that was announced at WWDC 2023 and went on sale a few months ago. But this year, attention will be focused on how the tech giant will compete in the field of AI (which will apparently be branded as Apple Intelligence). In addition to AI-powered updates across the company's ecosystem, we've also heard talk that Apple might be preparing a whole new… calculator app. We'll know more when the keynote starts today at 10am PST/1pm EST. I'm already there with my colleague Devindra Hardawar, preparing to bring you all the news and the most important insights, including how Apple's snacks will be different from Microsoft and Google events. Plus, what do you think the new macOS name will come from? Stay tuned for more live updates.
