Pixverse, an AI video creation platform developed by Beijing-based startup Aisphere, has raised $60 million in a Series B funding round led by Alibaba, and is taking part in the early stage VC company Antler.
According to a announcement on Wednesday, Fresh Capital will support global expansion and continue R&D of its generation video tool.
Founded in April 2023 by former Microsoft Research Asia and Bytedance Executive Wang Changhu, Aisphere launched Pixverse, a creator from around the world in January 2024. The platform has since attracted over 100 million users over the age of 175 and placed it among the fastest growing AI consumer applications in the world.
Pixverse allows users, from everyday creators to professional marketers, to generate movie-quality videos from video clips with text, images, or minimal input. The latest model, the Pixverse V5, significantly improves motion quality, visual consistency and rapid accuracy while maintaining high production speeds. V5 was ranked first among images and second from text to video by benchmarking the company's artificial analysis.
The company previously secured more than $43 million in the Series A2 to A4 rounds in the second half of 2024, backed by ANT Group, Lighthouse Capital, CAS Investment and the Beijing Artificial Intelligence Industry Investment Fund. Additional Series A rounds were closed in March 2025, led by Eminence Venture, bringing total Series A funding to more than $55 million.
Since its launch, Pixverse users have generated over 800 million videos. The “poisonous effect” template alone exceeds one billion social views. The platform is pioneering innovations like the first 4K AI video models and near-real-time generations. Initially focused on entertainment, Pixverse has expanded to advertising, education, gaming and e-commerce.
