Alarm.com (Nasdaq: ALRM) has announced that it has acquired substantially all of Vintra’s assets. Vintra is an award-winning AI-powered video analytics software provider for the enterprise commercial market. Integrating Vintra’s software capabilities with its experienced scientific and engineering team will expand Alarm.com’s deep learning program and accelerate the deployment of advanced video analytics solutions for Alarm.com and the OpenEye platform.
Launched in 2016, Vintra’s cloud platform transforms data from any video management system into actionable and trusted intelligence that can improve how organizations monitor and search for critical security events. Vintra’s AI models can track a variety of objects and events, such as a specific person, a two- or four-wheeled vehicle, a bag, or a person lying down. Its re-identification algorithm can track a subject in real-time on hundreds of cameras and search through tons of video recordings to find the subject’s video girlfriend clips within minutes.
