An intruder who broke into Windsor Castle grounds with a crossbow as part of a plot to kill the late Queen was prompted by an AI chatbot ‘girlfriend’ to carry out the assassination, a court has revealed.
Jaswant Singh Cheil said he discussed his plan, which he had been preparing for nine months, with a chatbot in a “sexual relationship” that convinced him that he was not “crazy or paranoid”.
Cheil was armed with a supersonic Xbow and wearing a mask and hood when he was arrested by royal guards near the Queen’s private apartments shortly after 8am on Christmas Day 2021. .
A former supermarket employee was asked what he was doing and interrogated after spending two hours on the premises after climbing around on a rope ladder.
A 21-year-old boy replied, “I’ve come to kill the Queen.”
He will be the first person to be sentenced for treason since 1981 after previously admitting intent to harm or alarm Queen Elizabeth II.

He sent sexually explicit messages to a bot called “Saray” and had lengthy conversations about his plans, which he claimed were revenge for the 1919 Amritsar massacre in India.
