AI Specialists will be taking part in Check4Cancer's Advisory Committee

Dr. Haider Raza has joined Check4Cancer's Clinical Advisory Committee to support further development of AI models for skin cancer detection.

Raza was a key member of the Innovate UK Fund Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) team that helps develop skin cancer AI models and support deployments in the UK and globally. He works closely with the growing data science team to advise the board on all issues related to adopting new technologies, including AI.

As a senior lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Electronics at the University of Essex, his research interests include using data-driven approaches to clinical and public health issues in techniques such as machine learning, computational intelligence, and predictive analytics. He is also involved in the development of AI-supported decision-making systems for Essex's NHS cancer pathways.
