If you’re a geek like me, you might enjoy this game from Chemical & Engineering News that challenges you to name how many chemical elements you can name. Last weekend I spent so much time on this that I perfected the technique to the point where I could get up to 70 elements in 60 seconds (without even looking at the periodic table!).
For more general knowledge or medical-related challenges, don’t forget to check out the daily STAT Mini Crossword. I’m not that good at it. Some of my colleagues can solve it in less than 30 seconds, but yesterday’s puzzle took me 43 seconds.
