AI-generated videos of Bollywood celebrities have achieved what many have imagined. From ultra-realistic photos to switching between movie characters, it seems like everything is now possible with the right prompts. A new AI-generated video has been released on social media that reverses the roles of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’ and Aditya Dhar’s ‘Dhulandhar’. Both the superhit movies trended because of the performances of the lead actors namely Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. A viral AI video shows what Animal would have been like if Ranveer had played Rannvijay instead of Ranveer. Similarly, it also shows what would have happened to Dhurandhar if Ranbir had played the role of Hamza instead of Ranveer.
Comparisons between Ranbir and Ranveer have dominated celebrity chats and media analysis for a long time. The AI video goes on to show how some of the most popular hits would have looked if the actors had switched roles. The AI clip shows Ranbir’s face swapping with Ranbir’s in a part of Dhurandhar. Similarly, Ranveer has also been digitally altered to look like he is playing the lead role in Animal. The video gives the feeling that both Animal and Dhurandaar would have been thrilling if the former had Ranveer in the lead role and the latter with him.
The two actors had similar appearances in the two films, with thick beards and long hair, so the distinction is not that clear. The comments section of the viral video was flooded with fans supporting either Ranbir or Ranveer. Some said Ranveer could have nailed Dhurandhar as well as Animal, while others said Ranveer was a better actor than his contemporaries and would have convincingly played the fierce and gritty Rannvijay in Vanga’s bloody revenge thriller Animal.
One social media user said, “Ranveer Singh can play both roles (sic).” Another user also pointed out, “Why I like Ranbir in both looks (sic).” While fans are debating whether Ranbir or Ranveer is better, the latter will be seen in the Dhurandhar sequel, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, which is scheduled to release on March 19. Meanwhile, Ranbir will be seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana: Part’. 1. It will hit the big screen this Diwali.
