Most of us choose our outfits every day. [NeuroForge] He instead decided to leave this duty to artificial intelligence. Probably more for a class project than outright fashion.

The concept first involved using AI models to predict the weather. These predictions are fed into a large-scale language model (LLM) that recommends appropriate clothing depending on the situation. The output from the LLM is passed to a simple alarm clock that wakes you up. [NeuroForge] and tells you what to wear on that day. Amazon's Chronos predictive model was used for weather prediction based on historical weather data, and Meta's Llama3.1 LLM was used for clothing recommendations. [NeuroForge] Note that all of this can be configured to work without querying external services once historical weather data is retrieved.

The AI ​​choices often included weird collisions and weren't suited to the weather, though. [NeuroForge] Still, I dressed as I was told. This became difficult, especially when the cold weather outfit was a T-shirt and shorts, but LLM at least suggested a winter hat and gloves as part of the ensemble. A small victory, right?

We've seen machine learning systems applied to wardrobe-related tasks in the past. One might wonder if more advanced models could be trained to not only choose seasonally appropriate clothing, but actually put together fashionable outfits.
