The meeting was attended by Mr. Chandra Mohan Garg, CEO of Smart City Project and Mayor. The two officials discussed collaboration on Mahakumbh 2025 with a team of experts.
Preparations are underway for prompt exchange of information between the civil administration and the railway administration. It was decided to install large LED display boards in various places to inform believers of necessary information, live images of trains, Mera district and various parts of the city. Artificial intelligence-based cameras will also be installed at every train station in the city to monitor the movement of billions of believers and help them make full assessments and forecasts.
In addition to this, cameras also play an important role considering the safety of the believers. During the conference, DRM’s Himanshu Badni said high-end technology will be used to make Mahakumbu’s organization successful.
“We have asked the railway authorities to provide us with a list of locations where such high-end cameras can be installed so that we can not only monitor the movement of believers, but also monitor unscrupulous elements. The same camera is used to do that,” Garg said.
Additional DRM officer Sanjay Singh said the team is working on installing artificial intelligence cameras in the city and in the first phase such cameras will be installed at nine stations.
