A two-day AI training program for girls launched by Sankalp-Hew Bandipora

Bandipora: In collaboration with ITI Bandipora, Sankalp Hub of Women's Empowerment (HEW), Mission Shakti Bandipora and Social Welfare Department Bandipora today launched a two-day vocational training program on artificial intelligence for girls in various villages in the district.
The purpose of the training, organized under the Occupational Initiative, is to provide participants with basic knowledge about AI, its practical applications, and key digital skills to enhance employability and promote independence.
The sessions conducted by resource persons covered the use of AI in fundamentals, education, job hunting, business and ethical digital practices. The brochure was distributed to trainees to make them aware of the services offered by Sankalp-Hew for women's empowerment.
Participants were awarded a certificate upon successful completion, and were informed that evaluations and top performers would be brought as encouragement tokens on their journey to digital empowerment.
Authorities emphasized the importance of AI skills in modern career development and encouraged active participation.
