About 12% of people in Hungary are using AI at work for some purpose, with a higher proportion of young people, people with higher education and people living in Budapest, who are experimenting more.

A Profession.hu survey found that while most employees believe a leap forward in this area will help them do their jobs more efficiently, a quarter of workers are already using machine learning at work. He says he’s afraid.

Profession.hu conducted a survey on the use of artificial intelligence among Hungarian workers. The vast majority of those who are already using her ChatGPT. The chatbot is used more by men than women (14% compared to her 8% of women) and is more used by young people. A quarter of 18-29-year-olds use it, compared to only about 5% of those over 40. . ChatGPT usage increased with education level, with 4% of those with primary education, 11% of those with secondary education, and 17% of those with tertiary education having used it.

Nearly 40% of those surveyed believe AI can make their daily tasks more efficient, with men (45%), ages 18-29 (54%) and those with higher education (50%) is higher than average and thinks like this. . About 9% of respondents disagreed and the rest were undecided.

A quarter of respondents believe AI will make their jobs easier, a figure that rises to 40% among the youngest group of workers. About 16% think it won’t get easier and the same percentage think it won’t work.

However, nearly a quarter (23%) of respondents are concerned about the issue and how AI and machine learning will affect their work. Young people and those with higher education are leading not only in usage but also in critical attitudes, with one in three of these groups predicting that their work will be impacted by the proliferation of AI. AI to help job seekers

About 4% of employees have used AI to create a cover letter, according to the survey, and six times as many of them imagine trying it out. About 8% have used software to write resumes and 3% have used AI as a consultant when looking for a job. But overall, more than half (53%) of people disapprove of these solutions.

Almost half (43%) of respondents are actively looking for a job or are at least willing to accept an offer, and 6% have encountered AI filtering while looking for a job. One in three of her respondents believes AI will be effective in their job search, and this opinion is more common among men, under 30, and highly educated than any other group.
