“By integrating ORCA into DRIL, our customers can explore a practical route to hybrid quantum-classical computing,” said Seamus Dunne, Managing Director, Digital Realty UK and Ireland.

DRIL allows customers to test new AI and quantum technologies in real-world operational conditions before full-scale implementation, reducing risk and accelerating adoption. By bringing this capability to London, Digital Realty is expanding access to advanced infrastructure testing for organizations building next-generation computing environments across EMEA.

The partnership with Digital Realty marks another significant commercial milestone for ORCA as companies increasingly explore how quantum acceleration can be integrated with AI and HPC infrastructure. As part of this effort, ORCA’s PT Series photonic quantum systems operate in parallel with cutting-edge AI and infrastructure technologies in live environments without the need for specialized cooling or infrastructure.

“Working with ORCA gives our customers direct access to one of the UK’s leading quantum innovators, demonstrating how quantum technology can be integrated into today’s real-world enterprise and AI infrastructure environments,” said Seamus Dunne, managing director at Digital Realty UK and Ireland. “By integrating ORCA within DRIL, our customers can explore a practical path to hybrid quantum-classical computing.”

ORCA’s latest deployment demonstrates the company’s data center-native approach to photonic quantum computing. This partnership solidifies ORCA’s position as a leading quantum company and one of the only full-stack quantum computing companies that can be deployed quickly and effectively into commercial environments.

“ORCA was built on the idea that quantum computing should be integrated directly into the infrastructure that businesses already rely on for AI and high-performance computing,” said Dr. Richard Murray, co-founder and CEO of ORCA Computing. “As a London-based quantum company, we are very pleased to participate in the launch of the Digital Realty Innovation Lab and demonstrate our system working within a commercial data center environment.”

This announcement reinforces ORCA’s continued momentum driving hybrid quantum-classical integration across generative AI and enterprise environments. Together with ORCA’s growing ecosystem of strategic collaborations, including NVIDIA, Toyota Tsusho, SiC Systems, and JIJ, ORCA continues to expand the deployment and real-world commercial deployment of optical quantum systems within enterprise data center environments.
