Pascal Wehrlein celebrates comeback with victory in Jeddah
Pascal Wehrlein currently leads the Formula E World Championship with 68 points. He has one win and one podium finish so far this season.Commenting on his first win of the season in Jeddah, he said in a statement: “It was a very well-organized race. I waited a bit for the pit boost, but also waited in attack mode. I think that was the right strategy. I went into attack mode and after the pit boost I slipped. I just tried to widen my lead so there was no one left on the track. I managed to do that and I was able to control the pace in the end. It was a really fun race and I got a good result. “There were some pretty tough battles, especially in the beginning, but we overcame them. Being at the top of the championship doesn’t really matter at the moment. Obviously, I really wanted that win, it’s been a while, and it’s great to bounce back like this. ”Wehrlein is scheduled to return to action at the Madrid E-Prix on March 21st.
