Shure IntelliMix Bar Pro: AI-powered video bar

AI Video & Visuals

Shure has announced IntelliMix Bar Pro, an all-in-one video bar designed to provide integrated audio and video for medium to large conference rooms.

The system combines Shure’s established microphone and speaker technology with AI-powered video capabilities to simplify deployment, improve meeting quality, and reduce the complexity of managing enterprise collaboration spaces.

The device is aimed at businesses that increasingly rely on hybrid and AI-assisted workflows.

“Today’s enterprises require seamless audio and video solutions to facilitate AI-driven collaboration. We are committed to delivering a future-ready, reliable AI experience in every meeting space.” Sam Sabet, Shure Chief Technology Officer.

“IntelliMix Bar Pro accomplishes this by combining Shure’s industry-leading audio expertise with cutting-edge video technology.”

By consolidating audio, video, and processing functionality into one device, Shure seeks to reduce the number of separate systems typically required in corporate conference rooms.

The device is designed to cover large rooms with a single room-front unit, which the company says reduces setup time and maintenance requirements.

AI-powered audio and video

At the heart of the IntelliMix Bar Pro is a combination of Shure’s Microflex Advance array microphone and high-output stereo speakers.

Onboard audio processing separates audio and suppresses background noise, which Shure says makes meetings clearer and transcription more accurate in tools like Microsoft Teams Copilot.

The system also features Shure’s IntelliMix View AI technology, which uses four 4K cameras to create a 135-degree wide-angle view of the room.

The camera is designed to intelligently track active speakers and frame each participant as if they were actually present.

Shure says this allows the device to capture nonverbal cues and provide room-wide visibility, allowing for more natural interactions in both hybrid and in-person meetings.

Enterprise-ready and scalable

Bar Pro is built on Microsoft’s Device Ecosystem Platform (MDEP). It’s a framework that enables IT teams to deploy and manage devices at scale while adhering to corporate security and compliance requirements.

MDEP is designed to provide consistent performance across large device networks and simplify long-term management.

Juha Kuosmanen, Head of MDEPHe said the partnership between Shure and Microsoft demonstrates the potential of integrated hardware and software solutions in enterprise environments.

“This collaboration with Shure shows what is possible when enterprise security, quality hardware, and deep platform integration work together. With MDEP as our foundation, Shure delivers devices that are secure by design, manageable at scale, and ready for the realities of modern IT environments. This is a powerful example of shared values being translated into real customer impact.”

Shure positions IntelliMix Bar Pro as part of a broader effort to provide enterprise-grade solutions that are both scalable and reliable.

The company emphasizes that the device is suitable for medium to large rooms and can replace multiple pieces of traditional meeting room technology, potentially reducing total implementation costs.

Simplified setup and remote management

Bar Pro runs on an Android-based system with onboard computing, which Shure says simplifies setup and reduces potential points of failure. IT teams can remotely manage devices using ShureCloud or enterprise management systems like Pro Management Portal and ServiceNow.

The system is designed to integrate device management into existing enterprise workflows, reducing the administrative burden on IT staff while maintaining consistent performance across locations.

By combining onboard computing, AI-driven video tracking, and remote management, it aims to streamline maintenance and updates, addressing one of the common challenges when deploying complex conference room technology at scale.

Background and industry impact

The launch of IntelliMix Bar Pro reflects a broader trend in enterprise collaboration technology, where AI-enabled devices are increasingly integrated into physical meeting spaces.

As hybrid work models become the norm, businesses are looking for solutions that can clearly capture meeting audio and video, support AI-powered transcription and collaboration tools, and minimize the complexity of managing multiple devices.

Devices like IntelliMix Bar Pro can address these needs by integrating audio, video, and AI processing into one scalable platform.

The system enables consistent performance even in larger rooms, reducing the number of devices and peripheral hardware typically required in corporate conferencing setups.

Bar Pro will be on display at ISE 2026 in Barcelona next week, marking the first public demonstration of the device.

Shure combines crystal-clear audio, AI-powered video framing, and enterprise-grade deployment features to position IntelliMix Bar Pro as a single-device solution for the modern, hybrid-enabled workplace.
