Be careful what you see on the internet.

When it comes to the internet, especially these days, you need to be more careful than ever when you see something that seems too good to be true and you can’t verify the source. What we’re talking about today is about that type of “Internet Item” and a little game you may have heard of called. GTA6. Since the game was delayed from earlier this month until late next year, gamers have been eager for any and all information regarding the title. Unfortunately, someone took that to heart and decided to try and use AI to “make a video” of what gameplay is like in the game.
Below are just a few examples of these AI videos. But just as bad is that while the accounts in question may be trying to “warn people” about AI videos, they are actually promoting them and helping them get more views on social media. If you want to know what it looks like, keep in mind that you are contributing to getting more views. Your call:
The reason this is a problem is because of the ongoing war many people are fighting over AI-generated video in general, also known as AI slop. “Slant” comes in many forms, but just as bad is trying to make yourself seem real or “really special” when it clearly isn’t. The more AI is used, the more certain companies will try to make deals with the people who created these things so they can use AI in place of actual humans, even though humans have actual creativity and can create things far better than any AI machine out there.
The fact that multiple videos like the one above have occurred GTA6 It should help paint a picture of not only how dangerous AI videos like these are, but also how desperate gamers are to see something related to the title, something related to the gameplay. Before the delay, many felt that the game’s third trailer would be released in November, but when it was postponed, fans were hit like a ton of bricks.
Rockstar Games claims that it needs more time to refine the title, which is considered a good thing, but it also opens up the possibility for more videos like this to be produced.
So from now on, if you see a video that claims to be from a video game and not from an official source, don’t watch it.
