Disney CEO Bob Iger said Disney Plus could soon allow users to create and watch AI-generated videos.

Disney CEO Bob Iger has hinted that the future of Disney Plus could include AI-powered video creation, giving viewers new ways to engage with the platform.

Iger said on the earnings call that the company is “very excited about AI” and sees opportunities for subscribers to “create” and “consume” short-form AI videos.

“There is an incredible opportunity to bring AI across our direct-to-consumer platform, giving us the tools to not only make it more dynamic and connect with consumers, but also give consumers the opportunity to create on our platform,” he explained.

Details about how this feature will work have not been disclosed.

Iger also hinted at other potential expansions for Disney+, including game-like experiences in partnership with Epic Games and commercial opportunities related to Disney parks, hotels and cruises.

The comments come after Disney reported that it added 1.5 million subscribers in the U.S. and Canada in the fourth quarter of 2025, bringing its North American subscriber count to 59.3 million. The company also recently increased subscription prices across its plans.
