The wild and extremely roughly surreal video, made with the SORA 2 AI model, came on shortly after Openai announced its feature. This includes clips containing many cute (and ominous) ideas that may have been tried with rivals like Google's Veo, Runway, or Meta's Vibes.
However, there is no denying that Sora 2 brings more keen realism than visuals. Also, synchronized sounds and dialogues make the results more impressive in some way than other video generators match.
Their design for Tiktok-style feeds encourages viewers to buy into their reality. However, it also makes the inevitable error more remarkable, more likely to induce anxiety, and even a bit nauseous.
SORA 2 Stand Up
SORA 2 is good at stand-up comedies from R/ChatGpt.
Firstly, this is a joke that Joan Rivers first spoke of, so there's no point in terms of originality here. The AI crowd seems to be enjoying the delivery of AI comedians. And the comedian seems pretty pleased with what it will turn out, despite sweating under synthetic light. Without looking at the watermark, I was able to believe that this was edited only with AI, not from scratch, but was widely edited.
Pool party?
SORA2 on r/soraai is so fun (spoiler warning for those who haven't read the book)
Taking some steps into the creepy (and potentially unpleasant) and this is a rather tasteless joke. And is it supposed to be a spoofer, or is it a prominent failure by AI, and doesn't actually have a hole in his legs as he claims. Still, the water is splashing around, and the way that weighs his robe is pretty realistic.
Cowabunga Value! s
SORA2. I'm amazed at r/singularity
I remember commercials like this when I was a kid. Certainly, the words in those commercials were spelled correctly, and while children looked undevil in human language, the teenage mutant Ninja Turtles were somewhat less threatening, the look and sound level of the quilters are particularly unsettling. And that's even before you see the ethical and legal consequences of how easy it is to mimic copyrighted intellectual property.
I don't like this Lucy
The creators of this video have drawn amazing things in terms of length, consistency and story continuity of these video clips. But Sora 2 has made some of the faces made by Lucy, Ethel and Ricky that are indeed terrifying. Just as Lucy is visible with her smartphone, Ricky's newspaper flaps in an unnatural way (and that's before we consider the topic under discussion.
But all of these videos are produced relatively quickly. If the first video of Sora 2 is good, the question is what happens with a very believable video that leaves a creepy aftertaste. I don't know if I'm excited about a world filled with videos where the line between synthesis and reality is so effectively blurred. We may all need to rely on our cowabunga value to figure it out (see the video above if you don't have it yet).
