Salesforce CEO Mark Benioff AI claims that it currently runs “30% to 50% of the job” in its company. The latest statement highlights the major automation possibilities of artificial intelligence within the enterprise software giant. Benioff made this comment in an interview with Bloomberg's The Circuit Show with Emily Chang. The statement follows similar claims from other technical leaders, including Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and Google-Parent Alphabet chief Sundar Pichai. Previously, Salesforce also noted that internal use of AI allowed companies to reduce employment needs.

In an interview, Benioff pointed out: “We all have to get our heads wrapped up in this idea that AI can do what we can before we were doing,” Benioff said. “We can move on to do a higher value job.”Additionally, the US-based software company develops AI products designed to manage customer service and other tasks without human involvement. According to Benioff, the tool achieves around 93% accuracy, even for major clients like Walt Disney Co.In the 2000s, Salesforce transformed the sales of software by providing customer management solutions over the Internet. Now, as the tech industry moves to AI, Benioff is working to maintain Salesforce's leadership by integrating AI deeper across the platform, the Bloomberg report adds.Previously, an old report by Bloomberg in February claims that Saleforce plans to lay off 1,000 employees as part of an ongoing restructuring effort.
