Former Master Cook of Resorts World Las Vegas has been fired for allegedly misleading Bacon and filed an illegal dismissal lawsuit against the casino resort. That comes after a federal labor judge ruled that Brian Satek was actually fired in retaliation for expressing concerns about food safety.
Sateke, who worked at the venue of Strip Property's famous Foods Street Eat, ended in April 2023 shortly after complaining to management about a potential violation of the kitchen's health law.
Sateke's firing is, on the surface, a violation of the health law in itself, over allegations that he kept ready-to-eat Chinese bacon, raised in cardboard boxes, rather than metal bread.
