ZoomMate helps users overcome the friction introduced by fragmented tools and incomplete workflows by displaying information across Zoom and connected business systems, creating deliverables from meetings and enterprise contexts, and orchestrating follow-through across workflows without switching tools.
Zoom Communications Co., Ltd. announced the launch of ZoomMate, an agent-driven AI worksurface that helps people move from workplace conversations to action without losing context along the way. Built on Zoom’s Action Vision system announced in March, ZoomMate connects live conversation context to agent search, workflow execution, custom agents, and AI content creation.
ZoomMate helps users overcome the friction introduced by fragmented tools and incomplete workflows by displaying information across Zoom and connected business systems, creating deliverables from meetings and enterprise contexts, and orchestrating follow-through across workflows without switching tools. This change reflects Zoom’s long-term vision for an action system that turns conversations into finished work.
“What drew me to Zoom was a simple truth: No other company puts Zoom at the center of every conversation where work decisions are made. ZoomMate is built on this insight. ZoomMate connects what was decided and what needs to be done next, before, during and after the meeting, across all the systems where work resides.”
– Russell Dicker, Chief Product Officer, Zoom
“The market is moving away from siled AI helpers to tools that can better connect decisions, data, and workflows across an organization. Many AI products operate at the edge of work, with limited access to the real-time context that influences decisions. ZoomMate takes a different approach by sitting within the conversations where decisions unfold. This allows live business It helps provide context and make recommendations based on the work your team is actually doing.”

ZoomMate features: Find, Adjust, Done
ZoomMate introduces advanced agent AI capabilities that help teams move from insight to completion.
Agent Search: Bring enterprise knowledge to every conversation
- ZoomMate helps users search across Zoom, the web, and third-party systems to find the most relevant information for their projects, accounts, tickets, policies, or business questions.
- By connecting to data sources such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, and Workday and indexing across a user’s integrated enterprise systems, ZoomMate can display information from enterprise files such as customer records, open issues, service tickets, knowledge articles, project updates, files, and other business content.
- You can integrate relevant context from Zoom meetings, calls, chats, and other connected collaboration platforms including Google and Microsoft directly into your work flow, so users always have what they need without having to switch tools or lose focus.
- Results are based on your organization’s relevant knowledge and are designed to respect your enterprise’s access controls, privileges, and governance.
Unlike enterprise search tools that only index documents, ZoomMate connects files, records, and the conversations behind them.
Orchestration: Coordinate follow-through across teams, apps, and systems.
- ZoomMate’s agent layer combines intelligent agents and AI workflows that can act, learn, and adapt within enterprise environments to enable proactive coordination and execution across systems.
- Agents can monitor ongoing projects, identify next steps based on meeting status, and automatically initiate follow-up actions to ensure continuity from conversation to completion.
- Coordinate real-time task execution across meetings, apps, and systems to turn repetitive processes into repeatable workflows.
- Schedule your event in Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook and route your request to the appropriate system.
- Update records, create follow-up tasks, draft customer communications, and trigger onboarding or support workflows.
- Reduce handoff gaps by connecting conversation context with execution.
Done: Turn meetings and corporate context into finished deliverables
- ZoomMate turns meetings into finished products, automatically creating presentations, documents, spreadsheets, reports, and project plans from meeting conversations and corporate context, so teams can move from discussion to execution faster.
- By leveraging Zoom’s AI Productivity Suite, ZoomMate can update artifacts as decisions evolve, keeping plans, documents, and other outputs up-to-date in real-time without manual syncing.
- Unlike AI tools that rely solely on prompts and manual context, ZoomMate understands the discussion and generates grounded, relevant output directly from the context of the meeting, delivering content in the form of presentations, documents, and spreadsheets.
How your team uses ZoomMate
ZoomMate integrates into existing team workflows, providing real-time assistance and continuity from first meeting to final deliverable. By connecting conversation context with corporate data, teams can automate repetitive administrative tasks and focus on high-value execution.
- Knowledge worker: Users can ask ZoomMate to retrieve important information from Google Docs, open Jira issues, publish recent Slack discussions, and more before the meeting begins. Then you can ask ZoomMate to manage and schedule events in Google Calendar or Outlook without having to check each person’s availability. And finally, ZoomMate allows users to use conversations as a source of truth while tracking specific information across various documents and data sources such as Google Drive and SharePoint for project updates.
- Sales team: ZoomMate can pull account details from Salesforce before the call, update the deal record immediately after, and use the meeting recording to draft follow-up proposals without reps having to switch apps.
- Product and engineering teams: ZoomMate can pull project context from Google Docs, identify open issues in Jira, surface relevant discussions from collaboration tools, and turn action items into structured plans and status updates that reflect the latest decisions.
- HR and operations teams: ZoomMate can answer common policy questions from a connected knowledge base, route employee requests to the appropriate systems, and automatically trigger onboarding workflows when a new employee’s start date is confirmed.
Conversations as an orchestration layer for modern work
As AI becomes embedded throughout workplace software, the next challenge is not just to generate more content or summarize more meetings, but to help teams complete the work generated by conversations. At Zoom, we believe that conversations are the context layer of modern work because they capture decisions, intentions, approvals, objections, and next steps that lead to meaningful business outcomes.
ZoomMate is built on that idea. By connecting conversation context to enterprise systems and agent execution, ZoomMate helps teams move from discussion to action without having to rebuild context across disconnected tools. This reflects Zoom’s broader platform vision: a conversation-centric system of actions where live collaboration becomes a finished job.
ZoomMate is currently available for online and in-person customers in North America starting at $20 per user per month, including AI credits. It will also be available in additional industries and regions, including EMEA and APAC, with rollout expected later this year.
