“Good sizing is a common strategy among model developers who release LLMs in multiple sizes to suit a variety of use cases and device constraints. Zoho's strategy of creating “good” AI models allows companies to create products with high value and computational efficiency.
Zoho's full stack AI bet
Zoho's approach by Zia LLM is different from enterprise AI rivals, such as Microsoft's Copilot, Salesforce's Einstein, and Google's Gemini, where companies own a full AI stack. While most competitors integrate third-party basic models, Zoho's models are trained, deployed and fully implemented on their own infrastructure and the cloud.
“Training your own models is technically complex, resource-intensive and unusual among software companies,” said Chirag Mehta, vice president and principal analyst at Constellation Research. “Zoho's decision to build its own LLMS is rooted in a strategy to maintain independence and flexibility. It reduces dependency on hyperscalers while allowing integration when customers want it. As the results from LLMS are closely linked to the context and data, Zoho's initial investment position already offers a deep experience with Domain-specific intelligence.”
