A startup called Empromptu Inc. is trying to provide a place where all other artificial intelligence-based application building tools have failed. It's starting to say it's the first platform of its kind. It is the first platform to provide fully business-ready AI applications that can work in production and rely on to smoothly integrate with existing technology systems.
Empromptu shows that the vast majority of AI-based no-code and low-code application builders fail to deliver products and point to research from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, showing that 95% of AI pilot projects are ultimately thrown into the scrap heap.
The reasons for these obstacles are broad, but often because companies don't have the resources they need to hire large, experienced language model engineers who are dedicated and experienced so that everything works as needed. Furthermore, most platforms rely on “generic” LLMS rather than fine-tuned models for their applications, resulting in vulnerable tools that struggle to perform in production environments. This means that most new applications built using AI or “vibe coding” tools can only achieve around 60% to 70% accuracy, which is not reliable enough in most enterprise scenarios.
According to Empromptu, AI app builders are much better than this. This is because it is the first platform built on a complete AI stack with LLMOPS tools, searched generation or RAG, automated AI response optimization, and other important features.
Improved accuracy
Like many of the AI app building tools you are about to swap, Empromptu is aimed at regular business employees rather than developers, providing a codeless interface that can explain the applications you want to build using natural language.
From the user's description, EMPROMPTU builds a fully production-ready AI application based on a full stack that includes front-end, back-end, and AI logic, and configures a user interface to integrate with the user's existing workflow. With built-in automatic AI response optimization, the generated apps will achieve 98% accuracy depending on the user's prompt. This allows us to leverage secure corporate data to enhance response thanks to the use of RAG.
Empromptu said the secret to its accuracy is its unique optimization technology, which was developed while co-founder Dr. Shawn Robinson was working for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
“There's no shortage of tools to leverage AI to build applications, but building 'AI' applications is different,” says Shanea Leven, co-founder and CEO of Empromptu. “Empromptu cuts Vibe Coding Hype to make trustworthy AI applications a reality.”
From prompts to production grade apps
Anyone can build AI-powered apps within minutes using Empromptu. First, we explain the types of applications you want to build, such as “I want to build a customer support assistant that understands the product documentation and provides accurate troubleshooting steps.”
AI Builder asks a few questions to clarify exactly what your app should do. For example, you can ask about the data source your app should use, how users interact with it, how to configure a successful response, and how users intend to deploy the app. Armed with these responses, we generate a comprehensive blueprint for our app based on data requirements, AI tasks, integration specifications, and optimization criteria, and hand it over to a team of AI agents who actually build the app. Once done, users can tweak the app via additional prompts to get it in the way they imagined.
Through this simple process, it states that using that platform can be used to create extremely powerful AI applications for almost any use case. For example, educational organizations that practice musician SPCs have used it to create AI music applications that support students, educators, artists and parents by combining traditional educational techniques with modern learning methods. Before improving with additional prompts, I developed an app based on a single natural language prompt that outlined its intended purpose.
Rory Creigh, director of AI and education for musicians, said the end result was a complex educational app in a highly specialized domain. “Each time we saw more than 98% accuracy,” he said. “Its credibility makes us serve our community with intuitive, research-based learning, expanding our impact and making music education more accessible.”
