zayn kuwait We have renewed our strategic partnership with CODED Academy This is to support the latest edition of the Kuwait Code Initiative, an educational program aimed at equipping high school students with practical skills in technology, artificial intelligence (AI), and software development.
The partnership builds on a long-standing collaboration between the two organizations, which has trained more than 4,500 students in technical and programming fields tailored to the needs of the modern job market. The initiative aims to introduce young people to emerging technologies early on and help prepare them for future academic and career opportunities.
As part of this year’s program, Zain hosted more than 50 students from its headquarters’ Kuwait Code campus, providing an immersive learning experience that exposed participants to real-world applications of technology and AI across a variety of business functions.
During the visit, the students were given an overview of Zain’s business and its role in Kuwait’s information and communication technology (ICT) sector. They also attended a session exploring the use of AI in media and content creation, learning how emerging technologies can improve productivity and the importance of using AI responsibly.
The program also featured cybersecurity sessions that introduced students to the basics of securing digital systems, data, and critical infrastructure. The session highlighted cybersecurity best practices and the increasing demand for digital security expertise as organizations continue to embrace digital transformation.
Students concluded their visit with a tour of Zain’s 107 call center, where they gained insight into the company’s customer service operations and learned how digital systems and technology solutions are used to improve customer support and operational efficiency.
This year’s Kuwait Code Program, hosted by the American University of Kuwait (AUK), is open to students between the ages of 14 and 18. Participants can choose from three learning courses: Cybersecurity, Python Programming with AI Technology, and AI-Assisted Website Development.
The Cybersecurity track focuses on the fundamentals of information security, along with hands-on exercises and practical challenges. The Python track introduces students to coding with the support of AI tools to develop simple applications. Meanwhile, the Website Development track teaches participants how to design and build a complete website using AI-powered development tools.
The program takes a hands-on learning approach that combines classroom instruction with workshops, coding challenges, friendly competitions, and a hands-on project presented at the end of training.
Zain said the partnership is part of the company’s broader corporate sustainability strategy, which prioritizes youth empowerment and digital education. The company said it remains committed to supporting efforts to develop the nation’s digital talent and equip young people with the skills needed to participate in the digital economy.
