YouTube is testing an AI-powered “Jump Ahead” feature. According to 9to5Google, the company has been testing this feature since March, and it's now available to all premium subscribers. This new feature allows users to skip to the best parts of a video that most viewers would normally skip. This function combines user data and AI technology to predict the best points of a video.

To use this new feature, Premium subscribers will need to double-tap to skip next, and then a new pill-shaped “Jump Next” tab will appear in the bottom right of the screen. This tab will appear for a few seconds and then disappear if the user desires. To advance by 10 seconds, the report adds.

When you tap the button, the words “Jump over commonly skipped sections” will appear on the display. Then, with the help of multiple user data and AI, the feature helps users watch the best parts of the video. .

At this time, this feature is only available to Android app users in the US and is limited to English-language videos only. YouTube Premium users can try out this experimental feature until June 1st. After the deadline, the platform may officially launch this feature as a permanent feature for all premium users or extend the experiment further.

The Jump Forward feature is an improved version of the previously released Double Tap Skip feature. However, instead of just skipping a few seconds, this new experimental feature skips directly to the most popular part of the video.

A few weeks ago, the platform tested a new feature in what it called a “very small experiment” in which some users were automatically enrolled. However, the feature is now more widely available through the youtube.com/new Experiments page, he reported, 9to5Google.

Users can try out this feature on both the mobile app and desktop. To register this feature in the mobile application, users can go to Settings and[実験的な機能を試す]You have to scroll down to the section and click on it. Users will be presented with the option to enable these features. Please note that these features are only available for a short period of time.
