YouTube unveiled the latest tools from Podcasters at a YouTube live event in New York, including innovative ways to turn video podcasts into clips and YouTube shorts.
This new feature creates audio-only Podcasters videos with AI. This is expected to be released in the near future.
YouTube, owned by Alphabet, said video podcast creators across the US can generate clips more easily using top Notch AI technology that can be accessed in the “next few months.”
Additionally, the ability to convert clips to YouTube shorts will be released in early 2026.
With this major update, YouTube aims to outperform rival short video apps such as Instagram (Reels) and Tiktok. At the same time, you may be directing users to Podcasters and find them interesting on the larger platform of YouTube.
The company has also announced another feature to help audio podcasters turn content into video. With the help of AI, these creators can customize videos for podcasts.
Initially, YouTube was only launched for Podcasters, with plans to expand extensively by the end of 2026.
In particular, YouTube has rolled out a comprehensive suite of features for Podcasters over the past few years, and podcasts are the perfect feature for YouTube homepage and its YouTube Music Service.
