Some users of the YouTube mobile apps for iOS and Android have a new experimental feature. It creates an artificial intelligence test that complements the educational videos you watch and helps you understand the content better.

Announced by YouTube’s admins, this new feature is now available to a small number of users around the world who have watched “some” training videos. For now, this is for English-speaking users only and provides links to tests based on the material you are viewing. Not all of YouTube’s experimental features are publicly available, so the fate of this innovation is unclear. Also, it’s not yet clear what percentage of users want to test their knowledge with these tests.
Meanwhile, YouTube has already established itself as a platform for instructional videos on topics ranging from changing car tires to backflips. Some teachers at educational institutions are posting teaching materials on their channels, which may increase demand for AI-generated tests. It was previously revealed that YouTube is cracking down on ad blockers, giving some premium subscribers the option to disable touch controls while browsing.
