Elon Musk and his Xai team are making a big push to win people using the latest Grok elements, as Grok's “Imagine” video generation options are now available at their disposal in the US (limited time).
First, with Grok's latest text-to-video functionality, it was launched last week to pay X Premium and Grok subscribers.
Xai is driving major promotions for new features in the app, with Elon himself sharing various Glock generation videos.

As mentioned earlier, Elon announced that US users can try out the features for free for a limited time, but remains a paid add-on option.
Xai says Imagine is the fastest and most fun video generator available, but Elon's also noted that the best Imagine Video Creations will quickly get their own dedicated feed in the app.
That's what he meant when he said X was reclaiming the grapes “in the ai shape” a few weeks ago. To be clear, X has not regained its vine, but is trying to showcase the generation of Grok to-Video.
In addition to this, X also added a new “Create a video using GROK” option to still images in the app.

So you can also use Grok to animate still images and provide another option for Xai's evolving video generation tool.
While Instagram is developing the same image-to-video functionality for its “edit” video editing app, the Tiktok variant that launched in May in a selected market is called “AI Alive,” and YouTube was rolled out in the same way a few weeks ago.
Functionally, this isn't new, but making it easy to access within the X app allows you to try many people and see how Grok thinks images will evolve from static state.
X is also working to imagine Grok on the web:

On a related side, Elon also discusses Grok's evolving video game creation engine. This makes it easier to create games that can be played through a simple construction process.
Xai also upgraded the PDF processing power of the Grok 4.
“Grok now allows for seamless processing of large PDFs – over hundreds of pages. Grok has a better understanding of PDF content through sharper recognition capabilities.”
Xai has also launched a male companion app called Valentine.
Therefore, users who pay primarily to users will receive various updates with AI installed in X, but some users can also use it.
But of course, the push is to pay more people X to fund the ongoing development of AI systems and ultimately make money from them.
It is unclear how Xai plans to generate big money from AI tools, but if government contracts and evolving subscription offerings can provide enough interest, there could be a path to generating significant revenue.
Is Text-to-Video just as big a thing for users as Elon and Co.'s wish?
