With the introduction of artificial intelligence, machine learning will become essential in health sciences: VC of BLDE Deemed University

Arun C. Inamadar, Vice Chancellor, BLDE Deemed University, Vijayapura, said the introduction of artificial intelligence and machine learning in health sciences has become a necessity, especially for students now.

Delivering felicitations at the 4th Annual General Meeting of Sri Dharmasthala Manjunateshwara University held in Dharwad on Saturday, Mr. Arun appealed to the graduates to work with dedication and sincerity, which would automatically help them achieve the milestone.

Instead of comparing yourself to others, you should set your own goals and work towards achieving them, he said. Purposeful action will help turn dreams into reality, he said.

Mr. D. Surendrakumar, vice president of SDME Association, declared the convocation open and conferred the degrees. Addressing the graduates, he asked them to remember their duties as doctors and be ready to serve their patients.

All 397 graduates, 180 graduate students, and 7 doctoral students were awarded various degrees. As many as 10 outstanding students were awarded university gold medals.

Vice Chancellor Niranjan Kumar, Secretary Padmalatha Niranjan, Pro Vice Chancellor Jeevandhar Kumar, Deputy Medical Director Saketh Shetty, Registrar Chidendra M. Shettar, Treasurer VG Prabhu and others were present.
