Will Smith has been accused of using AI to promote his new tour in a recent YouTube video. The video included clips of fans that appeared to have been AI generated.

Smith kicked off the British foot of his tour, performing in Cardiff on Monday. The tour appeared to be on track for the Fresh Prince Star, who appeared in 8,000 people at the Scarborough Open Air Theater on Sunday night. Smith will also be performing in Manchester, London and Wolverhampton next week as part of his “based on true stories” tour.

Things seemed to be on track for Smith after the release of his latest studio album, but his latest publicity stunts have not been going very well on social media.

The American actor and rapper said, “My favorite part of the tour is seeing you close by. “Thank you for meeting me too, wanting to promote his new tour and album. Though the video has become a virus for all the wrong reasons.

Social media users have pointed out several visual errors in the video, including a blurry face in the strangely shaped hands that appears to have six fingers, and signs of reading “FR6SH Crince.”

Another part of the video shows a man holding a sign with a blurry knuckle. The poster reads “You could make it.”

Smith has yet to make a statement to defend his work or confirm or deny whether he used AI in YouTube videos. While many accused Smith of using AI, others defended American actors and singers, saying YouTube is changing videos uploaded to the platform to artictick without the knowledge of creators.
