Will ai steal your work?

AI Video & Visuals

Will AI take on your job or will it improve it?

This video, released this afternoon, compares 2025 AI to 1995's Internet. At the time, only 5% of people used the internet. It's now over 90%. Can AI follow the same path?

We explore what it means for work, power, and the way society operates. Changes are coming, do you want to learn AI or do you want to learn it?

Will AI come for you?

That's the free question I just asked there. Because what am I talking about?

I'm talking about two things.

First of all, do you use AI?

And secondly, will it come for your work?

Take both very quickly.

This chart comes from the US Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, which shows the growth of internet use in the United States since it was mostly created from today in the 1980s. As you can see, its growth was pretty spectacular.

I started using the Internet in the early 1990s, and by the mid 1990s I was the director of an IT company promoting Internet dot.com Boom. So I was one of the early adopters, but it was rare at the time. About 5% of the population. And now, usage is over 90% of the population.

AI is in a very early stage, like the Internet was in 1995, or earlier or earlier.

But will that be over 90%? I think that will happen.

And what does that mean for us? AI automates tasks that we had to undertake before, so in the generation of these videos we already use some of the mechanical processes behind them.

Will your work be the result of AI? If so, what do you do, and how do you have to change the way you organize society as a result, if you don't have the work to go?

By the way, people said this on the internet, and of course, it doesn't crash jobs, create new job opportunities, and it's my doubt that it will happen in AI too, but we don't know what they are now.

So there are great lessons to learn about AI. It is as follows:

  • First of all, learn about it
  • Secondly, use it
  • Thirdly, master it
  • Fourth, make it your tool, not your master, and
  • Fifth, the internet has changed everything, so be prepared to change it.

If you're old enough, do you remember when you couldn't google something? The world is different from what it is now, and AI will feel that way 20 years from now.

Get ready. ai is here for you.
