In this article, we will talk about the recently released music video “The Fate Of Ophelia”. I don't just talk about it, I also talk about why I liked it and why I didn't like it.
As you may already know, Taylor Swift is a music artist. She has over 62 million subscribers on Youtube and who knows how many followers she has on Spotify, Instagram, etc. Taylor Swift is the artist behind “The Fate Of Ophelia.” The song “The Fate Of Ophelia” is part of the album “The Life Of A Showgirl”. Some people may not know that the title “Ophelia's Fate” actually has a shocking backstory. According to YouTube's Storywillri, Ophelia is a character from Shakespeare's Hamlet who goes insane and drowns after her father's death. There were other big reasons, but this was the main one. Taylor Swift has opened up about her past in previous songs. Ophelia has also gone through great hardships just like Taylor, so it's no shock that she relates so much to the character of Ophelia.

Why I liked “The Fate of Ophelia”
Let's applaud Taylor's music video outfit. I loved the scene where she was tied up with ropes and pulled up. It was very impressive to see her trunk wrapped around the rope! Her outfit was on point. Not only that, but so do transitions. She transitioned from scene to scene so easily, as if she were in a real movie. I liked her lyrics. However, there were some things I didn't like. More on this later. Taylor is a great artist, but he's just not my cup of tea. She gave an amazing performance in the music video. She looked amazing, from her costume to the casual effects and scenes in the video. She did a great job in those areas!
Why I didn't like “The Fate of Ophelia”
Side note: (These are just my opinions, don't take them seriously.)
I would like to dig a little deeper into her lyrics. I liked them, but it seemed like she was saying the same things over and over, there were other lyrics within the lyrics that she was saying over and over again, but it felt like she never stopped saying the same things. Now, I could be wrong, but I'm not saying there's a right or wrong answer. Everyone has their own opinion. I didn't like the scene where she and the backup dancers were holding floats and dancing on stage with water in the background. It felt unnecessary and just there for an additional scene. Taylor's outfit in that scene was great, but the scene just didn't feel right to me. There's not much to say about Taylor. She's a great artist, but I'm not Swiftie, so anything Swiftie would say to this, I probably wouldn't agree with. Other than that, I loved her video!

Again, don't worry about my opinion or my intake. These are my own opinions and everyone is free to have their own opinion. This is just my opinion on her video. Thank you for reading. Until next time! good bye! ! ! !
