Verkada has announced new products and platform upgrades designed to make security more proactive, intelligent and seamless. Over 2,000 IT and physical security leaders participated in the event to explore how the company is moving forward with the future of Connected Seculity.
“We provide a platform that pushes the boundaries of what is possible with physical security and drives the entire workflow of security professionals,” says Brandon Davito, Verkada's product and operations SVP.
AI-led innovation
Based on existing capabilities such as people and vehicles analytics and AI-powered search, Verkada has introduced a unified timeline, the industry's first tool to visually map people and vehicles movements across real estate. This new feature brings video events from all cameras to a single map-based timeline, simplifying investigation and response.
In addition to a unified timeline, Verkada has deployed a new operator view that organizes alerts into ticket-style workflows, in addition to expanded AI alerts tailored to specific industries and activities, allowing teams to work faster and more efficiently.
Verkada also expanded its Access Control portfolio to debut the AF64 Access Station Pro. This allows users to unlock the door using facial recognition. The AF64 combines door controllers, multi-technology readers, touchscreens and wide-angle cameras into a single device that only requires POE connections.
Extending protection beyond traditional facilities, Verkada has introduced the CR63-E remote camera with LTE, perfect for monitoring sites without power or internet. For mobile and temporary deployments, the company has revealed the MT81 Cloud Management Security Trailer, a solar power platform that supports up to six devices.
