AI For Business

Exclusive: UTA has inked a representation deal with creative agency and production company Native Foreign.

Native Foreign is an Emmy-nominated, NBA-certified, woman-owned creative agency and storytelling company that incorporates AI into its creative practice. In a release, UTA touted that the company's stories are crafted with intense strategic intent, leveraging traditional manual techniques while also leveraging a deep understanding of AI.

The company recently produced the highly talked-about Toys”R”Us brand film, which used OpenAI's Sora to create a visual origin story for the toy brand, and with the help of AI, the film went from concept to completion in just a few weeks.

Nick Krebeloff, the chief creative officer at Native Foreign who spearheaded the project, was announced as one of seven Sola Alpha artists by OpenAI in late March. Since then, Krebeloff has been experimenting with how AI models could impact the future of creative and agency work. He previously said: Narcos.

On the entertainment side, Native Foreign has worked on projects for Netflix, Amazon Prime and Showtime, and on the brand side, it has worked with companies such as OpenAI, Topgolf and Williams Sonoma.

The company is a two-time Emmy nominee for its collaboration with the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, “Storyline Online,” which features actors reading children's books to promote literacy among children around the world, and has collaborated with Oprah, Kristen Bell, Chris O'Dowd, and others.

UTA will collaborate with Native Foreign to leverage the power of AI and storytelling to deepen connections across the film, entertainment and branded content sectors.
