Following the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE government is stepping up efforts to integrate agent-based artificial intelligence across federal agencies.
The initiative aims to move 50% of government departments, services, and operations to Agentic AI models within the next two years.
More than 300 officials and experts from 50 federal agencies participated in a workshop hosted by the Cabinet Department, marking the beginning of the implementation phase.
Mohammad Al Ghagawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, said Agentic AI will help government teams complete tasks faster, increase productivity and support the UAE’s goal of building a more agile and future-ready government.
During the workshop, government teams will identify priority services and operations that can be transformed using AI, and each federal agency must select at least one service or process to implement within 90 days.
The program will focus on key areas such as human resources, finance, procurement, legal, digital services and government operations.
Officials said progress will be closely monitored over the next three months to ensure the project is implemented on schedule and facilitate the next phase of the UAE’s government transformation.
