GREENVILLE – Entrepreneurs and other business professionals looking for practical ways to apply artificial intelligence to their work will benefit from an upcoming boot camp hosted by the Tusculum University Business Department.
The AI Bootcamp will be held on Tuesday, July 28th from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Meen Center room 111 on campus. For just $49, participants will gain multiple AI skills that they can use to run their businesses and projects more efficiently and effectively. This event is fun and personal, with participants participating in hands-on learning rather than listening to a lecture.
“AI saves humans time and provides multiple ways to achieve superior results in the business world,” said David Hite, an associate professor of business at the university who leads the boot camp. “Tusculum consults with many experts in the field and is at the forefront of educating people about the benefits of AI. This bootcamp is another way we support the business community as part of the university’s commitment to civic engagement.”
This bootcamp is run in a workshop format and is aimed at entrepreneurs, small business owners, nonprofit leaders, and other professionals. Registrants will learn how to use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, NotebookLM, and Loveable AI. These tools allow users to save time, increase productivity, streamline operations, and make better business decisions.
No coding experience is required to attend the bootcamp.
Some of the skills participants will develop in this highly informative workshop include: Create powerful prompts that drive profitable business results Create social media content, emails, blogs, and video scripts in minutes Use AI as a strategic thinking partner to solve business challenges Create proposals, strategic operating procedures, job descriptions, and other business documents Research competitors, markets, and industry trends
Items attendees can take home and use at the end of the event include AI prompt guides, competitor research tools, business writing templates, website development resources, marketing templates, and a 30-day AI action plan.

This event comes four months after the highly-attended and highly educational Appalachian AI Summit in Business, which brought together educators, business owners, nonprofit representatives, and those involved in workforce development. Tusculum is also a leader in incorporating AI into the curriculum.
