Republicans explain the vote to summon the Epstein Files
Pennsylvania Representative Scott Perry voted in a House subcommittee along with two other Republicans and five Democrats to summon the Justice Department for the files associated with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
“I think it's important that Americans know what happened,” Perry told CNN's Manu Raju when asked about his vote on Wednesday.

President Donald Trump's name appeared in previously published records relating to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, according to the Associated Press.
