An AI-generated video depicting a surreal fight scene between Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt has once again sparked debate online. This time, Deadpool and Wolverine screenwriter Rhett Reese takes it a step further by sharing his thoughts and warning the industry about impending “changes” in film production.The short clip, shared by filmmaker Ruairi Robinson, features a digitally rendered scene of Cruise and Pitt getting into a fist fight in a bleak rooftop environment. Robinson revealed that the clip was created with just one prompt to the AI generator. He tweeted, “This is a two-line prompt for SeaDance 2. If Hollywood is cooked, maybe everyone is right. Hollywood is cooked, everyone is overcooked.”

Reese expanded on his concerns in a follow-up post, saying, “Soon, one person will be able to sit down at a computer and make a movie that looks indistinguishable from anything Hollywood is putting out today. Sure, it sucks if that person sucks. But if that person has the talent and flair of Christopher Nolan (and such people are rapidly emerging), that’s going to be tremendous.”“Hollywood has long been a gatekeeper, keeping young people and poor people away from creative outlets.
