The viral video (here and here) shows a shark with tires stuck around its body is struggling. The husky appears to be aware of a struggling shark near the coast. After that, some people arrive, remove the tires, clean the sharks and help them get back to the sea. This video is widely shared as a real incident. Find the truth behind it.

Claim: Viral video shows a real shark rescued after a tire stuck in his body.
fact: Virus video is generated by AI. This shows some visual inconsistencies, and has been confirmed to have been uploaded by the Tiktok channel, originally known for its AI content, and to use Google's SynthID tool to generate AI. Therefore, the argument is error.
While exploring the video, you can discover some inconsistencies. For example, if the tire is cut, it will break, but objects like black holes remain visible in the same place. Furthermore, after algae are removed from the shark's body, barnacles suddenly appear, which is unusual. Such inconsistencies are commonly seen in AI generation or deepfake videos (here and here), suggesting that this video could also be created using AI.

Additionally, to track the origins of the video, I performed a reverse image search on Google, leading me to the original upload of the Tiktok handle with the name. Teddygenaii. The account is dedicated solely to the Generated AI content, and upon review I found several similar videos depicting the dramatic rescue of whales and sharks (here, here, here) clearly created using Generated AI.

Furthermore, when it was suspected that the video would be generated by AI, I used Google's “SynthID” tool. It is a platform designed to detect content created by AI models. This tool confirmed that the video was actually generated using Google AI.

In summary, a video is generated by AI showing sharks stuck in tires being rescued on the coast.
