Following Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation as Union Education Minister, videos (here, here and here) of him allegedly threatening to fully reveal that the Bharatiya Janata Party forced him to resign went viral on social media. Let’s verify the authenticity of this video.

Claim: The video shows genuine footage of Dharmendra Pradhan saying he was forced to resign and threatening to expose the Bharatiya Janata Party.
fact: The video is fabricated and uses an AI-generated voice clone overlaid on NDTV news footage. Dharmendra Pradhan had not made any such statement after his resignation. Therefore, the claim in the post is that error.
First, I searched the internet whether Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan had given such a speech after his resignation, but I could not find any evidence in the media or on his social media handles.
Next, we extracted keyframes from the viral video and performed a reverse image search. The section featuring news anchors was found to be taken from a YouTube video of NDTV uploaded (archived) on July 26, 2026. The original video discusses Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation and CJP protests, but does not include the speech seen in the viral clip.
It has also been revealed that the visual of Dharmendra Pradhan used in the viral video was taken from a May 2026 press conference (here and here) regarding NEET paper leak and reexamination. In this video, he does not say anything about his resignation or exposing the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Additionally, the voice in the viral video sounds completely different from his natural speaking voice, suggesting it may be AI-generated. To confirm this, we tested the video using AI detection tools such as Hive and Hiya, both of which concluded that the viral clip was indeed generated by AI.

To recap, an AI video has been shared in which Dharmendra Pradhan threatens to expose the Bharatiya Janata Party for forcing him to resign from the post of education minister.
