With nearly 1 million booths at NAB 2026 in Las Vegas this year, there’s a lot to check out, but one previously announced new tool has taken a big step forward, moving from beta to official release.
imagen video, What I previously emphasizedis officially released from Video and will bring AI-driven editing platform capabilities to users working with Adobe Premiere and DaVinci Resolve, arguably the two most popular NLEs in the industry.
Let’s take a look at what Imagen Video has to offer with this release and how it can meet your content needs.
Imagen Video exits beta
Announced at NAB 2026, Imagen Video shared that its AI-driven editing platform is now available, offering AI color grading tools that seamlessly integrate with Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve. The goal is to provide video editors with the same level of automated efficiency that was available to photographers.
My point is, we all know how long color grading can be in a post-production workflow, and how tedious and time-consuming it can be. And this is doubly true for editors working with multiple cameras and varying lighting conditions while trying to meet tight deadlines. It can also be difficult to maintain visual consistency and require a lot of manual labor.
Imagen Video provides AI profiles trained with professional color styles that support custom LUTs. The platform then analyzes each clip individually, adjusting for lighting changes, white balance discrepancies, skin tones, and camera sensor differences to provide a baseline grade. This is reported to be up to “10x faster” than traditional manual methods.

What’s also unique about this color grading option is that, unlike other correction tools, Imagen Video claims to be able to adapt to each editor’s individual creative characteristics. This means editors can apply their own LUTs or choose from professionally designed AI profiles.
“Color grading is where a project comes together or falls apart. And for most editors, it’s also where time disappears. We didn’t build Imagen Video to replace the editor’s eye. We built it to handle all the technical fixes, clip-by-clip adjustments, camera matching, and everything else you don’t need. Imagen Video is the co-pilot every editor deserves, taking care of the technical tasks so you can focus on the creative work.” —Yotam Gill, co-founder and CEO of Imagen.
