New York, New York / Access Newswire / July 21, 2026 / Genius AI, a technology platform for face-to-face service businesses, today announced $44 million in Series D funding at a valuation of $1.15 billion. Along with the funding, the company announced a new company name: Genius AI. The name reflects our growing customer base and product vision: to help any service business run itself. That journey started with GlossGenius, which is now one of Genius AI’s flagship products. GlossGenius automates workflows for scheduling, payments, marketing, staff, customer management, and more. GlossGenius is widely used by single-location and multi-location businesses with staff in industries such as beauty, wellness, and health-related services. As part of the Genius AI platform, GlossGenius joins additional agent products that perform end-to-end rather than assisting you with your work.

Face-to-face service businesses represent one of the biggest opportunities for AI transformation. Approximately 8 million of these companies have annual spending of more than $2 trillion. However, the average owner spends nearly a third of their time each week on administrative tasks. With advances in model capabilities that allow multi-step tasks to be completed autonomously, Genius AI believes that AI will expand the capacity for human-to-human care, making many services more human, not less human.

“The best work happens when you have a true partner by your side. As identical twins, we’ve grown with partners who understand you and make you better. That’s what we want for all of our owners,” said Leah Cohen-Schohe, co-founder and chief business officer of Genius AI.

Currently, more than 125,000 businesses across half of all U.S. ZIP codes operate on the platform. The company estimates that its products have saved customers 112 million hours of administrative work, generated $2 billion in additional revenue, and facilitated more than 624 million customer touchpoints. The company’s revenue run rate is approaching $200 million.

“We believe that technology in our field will do the opposite of what people fear. Rather than flatten and automate human technology, it will liberate people to be more present, more expressive, and more connected to the people they serve,” said Daniel Cohen Schoe, co-founder and CEO of Genius AI. “One of the most powerful things AI can do is not replace what makes us human. It’s give us the space to become more human.”
