Tesla has hired former cruise executive Henry Kuang as the automaker's AI director as the company is about to expand its Robotaxi business in the US, according to a report on news website Elechrek.
Quang was the head of General Motors' autonomy (NYSE:) According to his LinkedIn profile, he was a self-driving unit and cruise until last year.
His appointment was made by Tesla (Nasdaq:) have seen a series of famous departures over the past year, including the resignation of two senior executives on Thursday.
