Hong Kong Special Administrative Region – On January 27, the 2nd Academic Summit on Innovative Application of International Artificial Intelligence Industry Scenario and 2026 Greater Bay Area AI Industry Innovation Ecosystem Conference was held at the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Guangdong) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Base. The summit, with the theme “Intelligence drives the cutting edge, scenarios power development”, was co-hosted by the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Guangdong) Innovation and Entrepreneurial Training Base and the Artificial Intelligence Industry Alliance (AIIA). Five academics and over 300 industry representatives gathered. As a supporting department, Guangdong Texan Science and Technology Co., Ltd. was invited to participate, jointly discussing cutting-edge trends in AI and opportunities for scenario innovation, and injecting intellectual impetus into the quality development of the Greater Bay Area.

During the summit, Chen Qu was invited to a “private forum where AI enables better health.” Together with many prestigious experts such as Academician Zhang Yuan of the International Academy of Biomedical Engineering and Academician Ding Xianping of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, as well as representatives of hospitals, biopharmaceutical companies, investment institutions, and industry associations, she focused on the integration of “industry, academia, research, and investment” and explored the path of innovative application and industrial implementation of AI in the medical and healthcare fields.
At the conference, Mr. Chen Qu, Deputy General Manager of Tecsun Science and Technology, gave a keynote speech titled “Restructuring the new era of medical data with AI”. He noted that hospitals currently face common problems such as system and data silos. Driven by the convergence of policy drivers, technology trends, and demands for reform amidst inefficient business operations, Tecsun Science and Technology built a “1+3+N” database and built a full-link closed loop covering data collection, governance, services, and intelligent applications by integrating multimodal data lakes, large-scale models, and AI capabilities. This allows hospitals to improve clinical efficiency, enable intelligent management and scientific research innovation, and facilitate the efficient achievement of policy goals such as electronic medical record evaluation and interconnectedness evaluation.
At the award ceremony, Tecsun Science and Technology was awarded the title of “2025 Artificial Intelligence Innovation Benchmark Company” for its outstanding achievements in AI technology research and development, scenario implementation and industrial empowerment. The summit focused on cutting-edge trends and industrial implementation, highlighting the important role of scenario innovation in AI development.
