Houston | Mumbai, August 5, 2025: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) (BSE:532540, NSE:TCS), a global leader in IT services, consulting and business solutions, has secured a five-year renewal and expansion of its agreement with Weatherford International (NASDAQ:WFRD), a multinational oilfield services company headquartered in North America. Under this expansion agreement, TCS will leverage its expertise in automation, artificial intelligence and digital optimization to drive Weatherford's enterprise-wide business transformation initiatives.

This partnership will focus on increasing operational efficiency across key domains such as finance, supply chain and HR. TCS plans to implement advanced AI-driven solutions to streamline Weatherford's funding and accounting processes, reduce costs and improve scalability. Additionally, TCS' advisory capabilities support Weatherford by simplifying workflows, driving innovation, and enabling results-based strategies aimed at maximizing agility and long-term financial resilience. This updated collaboration is based on a seven-year, trusted partnership, during which TCS led a transformational improvement in shared services. In particular, these efforts have reduced the total cost of ownership of Weatherford by about 50% across mission-critical operations.
