Taylor Swift has officially released her original country single, “I Knew It, I Knew You,” which will be featured on the soundtrack of the highly anticipated animated film Toy Story 5.This emotional ballad is said to reflect the journey of beloved cowgirl character Jesse, voiced by Joan Cusack. The song is reportedly about reunion, rediscovery, and reconnection with someone once thought lost. The song gives fans a glimpse into Jesse’s story, but details about the character’s journey and role in the new film have yet to be revealed.To announce the song’s release, Swift shared a home video on social media featuring footage from her childhood of herself dressed as a cowgirl, with a portion of the song playing in the background. Reflecting on the experience of writing the song, Swift wrote on Instagram: “Writing this song felt like leaving music and coming home at the same time. Creating something for Jesse was a new challenge, but it also felt like second nature. And being a @toystory kid from the age of 5 until now has me going on adventures to infinity and beyond. ”The singer also thanked Toy Story 5 director Andrew Stanton for letting her be a part of the project.
