The purported ad shows people testifying about downloading the app and the benefits it has brought them, and at the end of the video the presenter encourages people to download the app.

Pesa Check I tried doing a reverse image search on Google using keyframes from the video but didn't find any similar videos. A keyword search did find the original video posted on X (formerly Twitter). Nippon TelevisionThe original video isn't about Cash App, but about good workplace practices.
To further verify, the video was run through a deepfake detector, which found there was a 97.8 percent likelihood it was generated using artificial intelligence (AI).
