Palo Alto, California, August 13, 2025 (Globe Newswire) – Equipped with rapid AI Everywhere requirements. Companies face new challenges in modernizing their core infrastructure, systems and applications to adopt an AI-centric future. With the ever-growing multi-cloud data estate, businesses tackle vulnerable data pipelines, ETL-based batch lag, a lack of automated agents, and complex siloed data architectures that integrate.

Striim's latest product release: Striim 5.2 allows businesses to fill this gap by adding new endpoint connectors such as Neon Serverless Postgres, IBM DB2 Z/OS, and Microsoft Dynamics. It provides native, real-time, automated AI agents that enhance your data pipeline without adding operational complexity. This release also adds real-time support for legacy integration from mainframe sources, as well as data delivery to serverless PostgreSQL and open lakehouse destinations.

Striim 5.2 introduces new capabilities to enable AI in three strategic pillars: enterprise modernization and digital transformation, data interoperability, and real-time AI.

The key highlights are:

  • Accelerating real-time AI: Striim is making great strides in deploying AI directly into real-time data pipelines and applications. Striim recently released Sherlock and Sentinel AI agents to enable sensitive data governance in flight. With 5.2, Striim introduces two new AI agents – anomaly detection and prediction predictors, and Euclid for real-time vector embedding generation, allowing teams to embed intelligence directly into data streams. Striim is also expanding support for AI-Reaid databases such as Crunchy Data and Neon, built to handle AI agent workloads and Database AI applications.

  • Promoting modernization of companies: Striim supports real-time data reading from IBM DB2 on Z/OS, making it easier for organizations to make legacy systems easier. Enterprises can integrate mainframe data into the cloud and build high-throughput data pipelines that can read data in real-time from a wide range of array enterprise-grade systems, including IBM DB2, Oracle, Snowflake, and SQL Server.

  • Power of digital conversion: Enterprises use Apache Iceberg to provide data interoperability, destroy data silos, build wide ecosystem adoption, and maintain future data architectures. In addition to Delta, Stiim supports data creation in iceberg format to cloud data lakes and cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake and Google Bigquery. Customers can easily extend their existing data pipelines to utilize Iceberg tables without having to search for applications.
