Integrating digital and AI: A new blueprint for industrial upgrades
At the “AI for Industry” exhibition zone, Shanghai Electric unveiled the “StarCloud Intelligent Manufacturing” series, which includes about 40 AI models and intelligent agents, covering three main manufacturing scenarios: research and development and design, production and manufacturing, and operation and maintenance, to drive the intelligent upgrading of the manufacturing industry.
The Mobile Factory product is centered around containerized modular equipment and integrates AI and digital twin technology to enable remote maintenance and smart scheduling. It has already conducted maintenance and emergency repair missions on multiple overseas projects, including South Korea, Indonesia and Bangladesh.
Meanwhile, our homegrown Industrial Internet Platform provides digital transformation solutions to manufacturing plants in 13 industries, including energy and industrial sectors, with over 460,000 connected devices.
Suyuan, a bipedal humanoid robot developed by Shanghai Electric, was also unveiled globally at the event. Equipped with self-developed high-performance joints and intelligent control systems, it can work in complex industrial scenarios and enhance traditional industrial production.
Green energy: a new benchmark for zero-carbon parks
Shanghai Electric leverages the synergy of “Energy + Industry” to develop reproducible zero-carbon park solutions. The company offers full-cycle customized services from planning to operation, combined with its own products that cover more than half of the core equipment needed, including wind, solar, storage, hydrogen, microgrids and multi-energy coupled systems.
In the “Zero Carbon Park” zone, Shanghai Electric exhibited its green technology leadership in wind, solar and energy storage.
- Wind power: Featuring a 25 MW offshore turbine, Shanghai Power has provided equipment and O&M services to wind farms around the world, including the Senj wind farm in Croatia, one of the largest wind projects in Central and Eastern Europe.

Leading the new frontier of green hydrogen and green fuels
Leveraging full-chain capabilities in new energy, smart grid, and green chemicals, Shanghai Electric has built core technologies and equipment covering the entire green fuel value chain. Shanghai Electric provides fully customized end-to-end solutions for three major green fuels, including green methanol, green ammonia and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), to suit different resource conditions and market demands.
Shanghai Electric’s Taonan project in Jilin Province is China’s first green methanol demonstration project and has obtained full-process EU ISCC certification.
