It focuses primarily on serving governments around the world. Serco's operations in Asia-Pacific Span Defense, Healthcare, Judicial and Community Services. As part of a broader drive to modernize operations in the Asia-Pacific region, Serco is adopting Boomi to help streamline data flows, enhance master data management, and simplify API connectivity. The Boomi platform was a preferred choice due to its low code familiarity, ease of use, and speed to build and monitor integrations.

Following the event, Serco quickly mobilized its integrated team to test and deploy Boomi's AI agents. This helps users design and deploy integrations faster using natural language prompts.
While Boomi Scribe was implemented as a document-based integration, creating intelligible documents to see what lies behind a particular interface, Boomi Designgen was able to easily communicate between teams through visuals and gain trust from stakeholders.

Serco recently completed two major integration projects, significantly reducing document time including meetings, conversations and document creation. Previously, this process took 40-60 hours. With Boomi AI agents, Serco has reduced average completion times from 6 to 12 hours.
The integration of these tools occurred shortly after Serco APAC transitioned the integrated workload from a self-hosted Boomi runtime cluster to Boomi Managed Cloud Service (MCS). Currently, public service providers are focused on leveraging Boomi AI agents via Boomi AgentStudio.
Kiran's vision as Serco's product director and digital capabilities director is to enable business leaders to use Boomi for integration of the first draft. “With Boomi, you eliminate bottlenecks without losing control,” he said. “It dramatically accelerates the degree to which business users model within a governed framework can deliver value quickly.”
The platform also supports Serco's data quality goals using Boomi Datahub and Boomi API management to use consistent, simplified information integrity.
